A Living Will is a written declaration and direction that provides the withholding, or withdrawal of life-prolonging procedures in the event that a person has a terminal condition, has an end-stage condition, or is in a persistent vegetative state.  Florida Statute provides a statutory form of a Living Will.

The statute provides that more specific information can be added to to fit individual desires.   For example, the statutory form can be amended to provide for the removal of feeding tubes.
